අතර, conj. or post. in the interval, while, as ඔහු ලියන අතර, while he writes; ඒ අතර (see අතරතුරේ).

අන්දවන‍වා, v. t. to dress, attire, clothe, as ඔහුට ඇඳුමි අන්දවනවා; pret. ඇන්දෙවුවා; v. n. අන්දවීම.

ආකාරයට, ආකාරයෙන්, ad. affix, expressing manner: as, according to: හොඳ ආකාරයට, in a good manner, well; ඔහු කියන ආකාරයට, as be says.

ඇත, ඇති, v. There is or are; there is or are enough, sufficit; used also as a verb aux.: with the present, to express the future; with the preterite, to express the perfect with diffidence; with the infinitive to express probability, as ඔහු යන්ට ඇත, He must have — has probably—gone.

උහු, pron. for ඔහු: he, him, (also) they.

එක, a. or n. one; the one, that which; that; as ඔහු ගෙනෙන එක, the one or that which he brings; ඔහු යන එක, (the fact) that he goes.

ඒකා, pron. mas. that one (animal), that fellow, he, (low for ඔහු).

ඔහා, pron. res. that person, you; pl. ඔහාලා.

ඔහු, pron. he; obs. they.

ඔහුන්, pron. for ඔවුන්.

ඔහුනොහුන්, pron. See ඔවුනොවුන්.

ඔහේ, ad. there (near you); pron. res. you.

ඔහොම, ad. or a. so; such as that. See ඔ prefix.

ඔහොරිය, n. a kind of dress of Tamil and Kandyan women.
