කථෝපකථනය, n. (කථා උප කථනය), mutual conversation, colloquy, speaking and responding, dialogue, කථාකරගැනීම, සාකච්ජාව, දෙබස; name of a catechism.

ගන්නවා, v. t. to take, accept; buy. Used also with the p. pl. of another verb to express the reflexive sense or that the action is done to or for one's self or mutually, as ඔහු ගෙයක් සාදාගත්තා. He built himself a house; ඔවුන් කථාකරගත්තා. They conversed together; pret. ගත්තා; p. pl. ගන or ගෙන; v. n. ගැනීම.

දුර්‍වච, a. speaking ill or with difficulty, නරක ලෙස—අමාරුවෙන්—කථාකරන.

දුර්‍වාචකයා, දුර්‍වාචයා, n. bad or evil speaker, නරක ලෙස කථාකරන්නා.

මඳ·කල, a. (මද drunken, කල low tone), speaking indistinctly like a drunken man, වියවුල් ලෙස කථාකරන.

වක්තෘ, a. speaking, කථාකරන; loquacious, වා වාල; eloquent, දක්‍ෂ කථික; learned, wise, උගත්, ඥානවත්.
