කුදු ගොත් සඟිය, n. last of the five divisions of the Sutra Pitaka, containing fifteen books.

ගෙතීම, v n. of ගොතනවා: knitting, plaiting.

ගෙතෙනවා, v. i. of ගොතනවා; to become plaited, tangled, matted (as hair); pret. ගෙ තුණ; v. n. ගෙතීම.

ගොතනවා, v. t. to plait, plat, knit, interlace, weave (a net); fig. devise, contrive: බොරු ගොතනවා make up lies; pret. ගෙතුවා ; v. n. ගෙතීම.

ප්‍රේත·වස්තුව, n. (වස්තුව treasure, history), history or narrative of spritea, the name of a sūtra of Buddha, included in the කුදුගොත් සභිය: see සූත්‍රපිටකය.

රිවි·කුලය, රිවි·ගොත්, n. solar race or caste or dynasty: see සූර්‍ය්‍යවංශය.

සඟිය, n. (cp. සංගීතී), compilation, collection, සංග්‍රහය, sp. the five Sangis or divisions of Buddha's teachings, called දික්, මැදුම්, සංයුත්, අංගෝත්තර and කුදුගොත්. To these are added commentaries and glosses, and the difficult passages of these again are explained in other works called ග්‍රන්‍ථිපද, knotty passages.

සම·ගොත්, සම·ගෝත්‍ර, a. (සම same, ගොත් &c. tribe), of the same tribe, kindred, එකජාතිවූ, නෑවූ.

සූත්‍ර·පිටකය, n. the first of the ත්‍රිපිටක, containing addresses spoken by Buddha and intended for mankind in general; it consists of five සහි, collecions or books, called respectively දික්,මැහුම්,සංයුත්,අංගුත්තර and කුදුගොත්. See each one.
