ත්‍රි·වික්‍රම, n. (වික්‍රම going), ap. of Vishnu who crossed over the three worlds in three steps and defeated and destroyed the Asura or demon Bali.

ත්‍රි·විජ, a. tricoccous, බීජ තුනක්ඇති (කෝෂය).

ත්‍රි·විජ·කෝශවත්, a. tricapsular, බීජකෝෂ තු නක් ඇති (මල්).

ත්‍රි·විද්‍යාව, n. threefold or three kinds of knowledge; ap. of the three principle Vedas: Rig, Yajur and Sāma; in B., knowledge of three important things, viz. අනිත්‍යය, දුඃඛය අනාත්මය: i.e., impermanancy, sorrow (of all existence), and the non-existence of a permanent self. This is one of the chief doctrines of B., and the chief study of all B. ascetics.

ත්‍රි·විධ, a. threefold, of three kinds, trinal, තුන් ආකාර.

ත්‍රි·විධ·චාර, n. pl. three kinds of doors; fig. body, speech and mind, which are the three means of acquiring or for the entrance of merit or demerit.

ත්‍රි·විධ·ධර්‍මය, n. B., the threefold or three kinds of doctrine, viz. සූත්‍ර, rules for the laity; විනය, discourses to the priests; අභිධර්‍ම, transcendental doctrines.

ත්‍රි·විධ·භව, n. pl. See ත්‍රිභවය.

ත්‍රි·විධ·රත්නය, n. the three gems, viz. Buddha, his doctrines and his priests.

ත්‍රි·විධ·ශික්‍ෂාව, n. the three kinds of instruction, viz, to obey Buddha, his doctrines and his priests.

ත්‍රි·විවාහය, ත්‍රි·විවාහිතතාව, n. trigamy: see ත්‍රි පුරුෂතාව and ත්‍රිභාර්‍ය්‍යතාව.
