(පරි around, කසිණ all), an observance and attainment of ascetics preparatory to the performance of ධ්‍යාන: it consists of one of the following, viz. තේජෝකසිණ, ආ පෝකසිණ, ආකාසෝකසිණ or පඨවිකසිණ.
