අ ඥාන, a. unknown, අප්‍රක‍ට, නොදන්න, (දේ), occult, රහස්.

අ දන්ත, a. edentate, toothless, දන්නැති.

අ නාථ පිණ්ඩක, අ නාථ පිණ්ඩික, a. giving alms to the destitute, charitable, දන්දෙන; ep. of a B. noble who was a contemporary of Buddha.

අ නාථ පිණ්ඩකයා, n. almsgiver, philanthropist, දන්දෙන්නා.

අ පරි ඥාන, a. unascertained, unknown, දැනනො ගත් (දේ), නොදන්නාලද.

අ විඥාත a. unknown, නොදන්නාලද; not famous, obscure, කීර්‍තතිනැති, අප්‍රසිඬ.

අ සර්‍වඥ, a. non-omniscient, සර්‍වඥනැති, සියල්ල නොදන්න.

අග් දත්, a. that knows the end or issue, අන්ති මය or තීන්දුව දන්න.

අග්නි භාණ්ඩ ශාස්ත්‍ර ඥ, a. knowing the science of fireworks, pyrotechnic, ගිනිකෙළි ශාස්ත්‍රය දන්න.

අග්නි භාණ්ඩ ශිල්පියා, n. pyrotechnist, ගිනිකෙළි සාදන්නා.

අතුරු දන්කරනවා, v. t. to cause to vanish, occult, නොපෙනීයන්ට සලස්වනවා.

අනු දන්නවා, v. to consent, permit, කැමති වෙන වා or ඉඩදෙනවා; pret. අනුදත්තා.

අනුමෝදනාකරවනවා,, v. t. to make to share in අනුමෝදන්කරනවා (the merit and benefit of offerings &c.), සහභාගි-පංගුකාර-කරවනවා.

අභි ඥ, a. knowing well, හොඳට දන්න, very skilful, ඉතා සමර්‍ථ.

අභි ඥාත, a. ascertained, known, දැන‍‍‍ගනතිබෙව, දන්නාලද, අභිඥානය, අභිඥාව n profound or sp. or extraordinary knowledge, cognition, recognition, විශේෂ දැනගැන්ම or දැනීම; five supernatural acquirements of Rahats, viz. power to assume any form, to hear the feeblest sounds and see objects at any distance, to know the disposition and thoughts of others, to know the condition of any person in former existences.
