පංචාංග, n. pl. (පංච අංග), five parts or constituents of anything, as five parts of the body which in worshipping must touch the ground, viz. the waist, elbows, knees, head and toes; five parts of a plant used medicinally, viz. root, bark, flowers, fruit and leaves.

පංචාංග·ගුප්තයා, n. one whose head and four legs may be withdrawn or concealed, viz. tortoise or turtle, කැස්බෑවා or ඉබ්බා.

පංචාංග·තාලය, n. quintetto, පස්පංගුතාලය.

පංචාංගය, n. aggregate of five parts; ephemeric, almanac of solar and lunar days, of periods of asterisms &c.

පංචාංගික, a. having five parts, composed of five portions, fivefold or five kinds, පස්ගුණ පස් ආකාර.

පංචාංගික·තූර්‍ය්‍ය·නාද, n. pl. the sounds of five kinds of musical instruments. For the instruments see පංචතූර්‍ය්‍යවාද්‍ය.

පංචාංගුල, a. that measures five fingers. Bot. පංචාංගුලි, a. having five fingers or divisions, ඇඟිලි—කොඨාස—පහක් ඇති.

පංචාංගුල, lit. five-flnger: so called because the leaves resemble the. open hand; castor-oil plant, එඬරු.
