අග්‍ර දක්ෂිණහි, අග්‍රදාක්ෂිණ්‍ය, a. very meritorious or worthy, ඉතා පින්වත්.

අවශ්‍යාය, n. or a. fog, mist, මීදුම, dew, පිනි; foggy &c., මීදුම ඇති, පිනි.

අව්ව තපිනවා, v. to warm one's self in the sun, bask in the sun.

ඉ, n. The fifth vowel of the alphabet; the third in Sanskrit, which has not the two preceding. Its sound is the fine sharp sound of i in pin; its non-initial form is (ි), called ඉස්පිල්ල head or top piece, placed above the consonant it vocalizes: as කි,මි පින්, ki, mi, pin.

ගස්·පින්න, a plant, Clerodendrum infortunaturn (Verben.).

ගුණෝත්කෘෂ්ට, a. (ගුණ උත්කෘෂ්ට), virtuous, excellent, meritorious, ඉතාගුණවන්ත, පින්වත්.

චිත්‍තාකර්‍ෂණකරනවා, v. t. to attract the mind, allure, charm, fascinate, සිත පිනවනවා.

තපිනවා, v. to bask or warm one's self, as ගිනි තපිනවා, අව්ව තපිනවා, warm one's self at the fire or in the sun: pret. තැප්පා; p. pl. තැප; v. n. තැපීම.
