අ ප්‍රබුඬ, අ ප්‍රබෝධිත, a. unawakened, පිබිදීනැති, uncultivated, ප්‍රගුණිත නුවූ, unenlightened, uninformed, දැනුම්නැති, නූගත්.

ආ දීප්ත, a. illumined, enlightened, ආලෝකවූ, fig. ප්‍රබෝධිත.

ආත්මාවබෝධිත, a. self-educated, self-instructed: see ආත්මශික්ෂිත.

තුන්·තරාබෝධිය, n. three kinds or degrees of Bōdhi, viz. a supreme Buddha, a secondary Buddha, and an Arhat or saint: බුදු, පසේබුදු and මහරහත්.

නිදාන·ත්‍රය, n. the three origins or periods of the existence of Gautama as බෝධිසත්‍ව and බුදුන්, viz. from his resolve to attain Buddhahood to his birth in the Tusita Paradise; the next, from that priod to his attainment of Buddhahood, and third from that attainment till his death.

ප්‍ර·බෝධිත, a: enlightened, instructed, ශික්‍ෂිත, දැනගත්; aroused, awakened, පිබිදුණු.

ප්‍රථම·බෝධිය, n. first stage of Buddhaship.

බුද්ධාංකුරයෝ, n. (·අංකුර germ, root-shoot), embryo Buddha or person preparing for Buddhaship, බෝධිසත්‍වයෝ.

බෝ,බෝගහ, peepul or sacred fig-tree, Ficus religiosa (Urti.). It is regarded as sacred because, it is said, on the day when Gautama attained Buddhahood he sat down under it on a throne which had miraculouby sprung up for him on the instant: see බෝධිපර්‍ය්‍යංකය.

බෝ·සතාණෝ, n. hon. E. of බෝධිසත්‍වයෝ or බෝධිසත්‍වයා.
