ආ දේශවෙනවා, v. i. gram. to be exchanged for, මාරුවෙනවා.

ඌර්‍ඬව ශ්වාසය, n. expiration, ප්‍රශ්වාසය; hard breathing, අමාරුවෙන් හුස්ම හෙළීම; dying respiration, අන්තිම හුස්ම.

ඍතු භේදය, ඍතු මාරුවීම, n. change of season, monsoon.

ක්‍රමානුක්‍රමයෙන්, ක්‍රමායාතයෙන්, ad. successively or in rotation, පි‍ටපිටම or මාරුවෙන්මාරුවට.

ඡද්ම·වේශ·ඇති, a. disguised, වෙස්මාරුවු

දුක·සේ, ad. with difficulty, අමාරුවෙන්.

දුරධිගම, a. (දුර් අධිගම) difficult of attainment or comprehension, පැමිණිමට or තේරුම්ගැනී මට අමාරුවූ.

දුර්‍වච, a. speaking ill or with difficulty, නරක ලෙස—අමාරුවෙන්—කථාකරන.

දුරාක්‍රම, a. (දුර් ආක්‍රම) difficult to reach or attain or overcome, පැමිණෙන්ට (or ලබාගන්ට) අමාරුවූ.

දුශ්චර, a. (දුශ් for දුර් before ච), going with difficulty, අමාරුවෙන් යන; acting badly, vicious, දුෂ්ට.

දුෂ්කරාශ්වාසය, n. difficulty of breathing, oppression of the chest, අමාරුවෙන් හුස්මගැනීම.

පරි·වෘත්ත, a. gone around, වටකර ගිය, turned back, ආපසු ගිය; exchanged, මාරුවූ.

ප්‍රති, prefix, (signifying) in lieu of, වෙනුවට against, විරුඬ, හිලව්වට; severally, එක එක; towards, to, දෙස; exchange, මාරුවට; again, නැවත; belonging to, corresponding, අඩංගු එකඟ. [Sometimes ප්‍රති in composition.]
