අටඟ මග, n. (අට, අග portion, section), the eightfold way to Nirvāna, i. e. the way embracing eight sections, viz. — 1. සම්‍යක් දෘෂ්ටිය, right view, orthodoxy. 2. සම්‍යක් සංකල්පනාව, right volition or determination. 3. සම්‍යක් වචනය, right speech. 4. සම්‍යක් කර්‍මන්තය, right action. 5. සම්‍යක් ආජීවය, right living or livelihood. 6. සම්‍යක් ව්‍යායාමය, right effort. 7. සම්‍යක් සමෘතිය, right remembrance or contemplation of the past. 8. සම්‍යක් සමාධිය, right meditation.

අනු ස්මරණය, අනු ස්මෘතිය, n. recollection, remembrance, memory, සිහිකිරීම, මතක.

අස්ථි පරික්ෂයය, අස්ථි මෘතිය, n. decay of bone, cariosity, sphacelus (of bone), ඇටයක දිරුම.

ආනා පාන සතිය, ආනා පාන සමෘතිය, n. remembering or meditating severally upon one's inspiration and expiration.

පූර්‍වෙ·නිවාසානුස්මෘතිය, n. (·අනුස්මෘතිය), remembrance of former existences, පෙර ජාති ගැන සිහිවීම.

බෝධ්‍යංග, n. pl. (බෝධි අංග), Buddha attributes or requisites for attaining Buddhaship, viz. the following seven: සමෘතිය, remembrance, ධර්‍මවිචය, investigation of religious truth, වීර්‍ය්‍යය effort, ප්‍රීතිය joy, ප්‍රශ්‍රබ්ධිය mental tranquillity, සමාධිය concentrated meditation, උපේක්‍ෂාව impassiveness, stoicism.

මුඪ·ස්මෘතිය, n. blunt or bad memory, foolish understanding, මෝඩ සිහිකල්පනාව.

මෘතිය, n. death, මරණය, dying, මැරීම.

වි·ස්මෘතිය, n. non-remembrance, forgetting, forgetfulness, මතකනැතිකිරීම.

සංඝානුස්මෘතිය, n. (·අනු: remembrance, reflection), consideration or veneration for the B. priesthood.

සංස්මෘතිය, n. See සංස්මරණය.

ස්මෘතිය, n. remembrance, recollection, reminiscence, මතක, සිහිවීම; body of laws, ධර්‍මස්කන්‍ධය.
