ප්‍ර·මෝචනය, n. (මෝචන fr. මුච් to free), liberation, මිදිම, pardon, කමාව; final emancipation from existence, මෝක්‍ෂය.

ප්‍රාතිමෝක්‍ෂය, n. (pro-liberation), the name given to a collection of the various precepts contained in the Vinaya Pitaka. These precepts are read twice a month in every monastery, and individual priests are invited to make confession if they have broken any of the precepts read out. P. පාති මොක්‍ඛ.

භාගය, n. excellence, යසස, (applied to many things, as happiness, beauty, strength, vigour, glory &c.); moral excellence or merit, ගුණය, කුසල; final emancipation, මෝක්‍ෂය.

මුක්තිය, n. liberation, escape, freedom, මිදීම, sp. final liberation or exemption from transmigration, Nirvāna, නිවණ, මෝක්‍ෂය.

මොකැදුරු, n. (මොක් ඇදුරා), ap. of Buddha as teacher of the doctrine of මෝක්‍ෂය or Nirvàna.

මෝක්‍ෂක, a. liberating, emancipatory, releasing, saving, මුදග, ගළවන.

මෝක්‍ෂකයා, n. liberator, saviour, මිදුම්කාරයා, ගැළවුම්කාරයා.

මෝක්‍ෂණය, n. setting free, liberating, නිදහස් කිරීම, මුදාඇරීම.

මෝක්‍ෂය, n. liberation, final emancipation or freedom from transmigration, the state of Nirvàna, නිර්‍වාණය, නිවනය.

මෝක්‍ෂිත, a. liberated &c., මිදුණ, නිවනට පැමුණුණ.

මෝචනය, n. setting free, see මෝක්‍ෂණය; liberation, excretion, පහකිරීම.

විමෝක්‍ෂය, n. liberation, මිදිමsee මෝක්‍ෂණය.

ශ්‍රේයස්, n. virtue, merit, සද්ගුණය, පුණ්‍යය: prosperity, ශුභසිද්ධිය; final emancipation, මෝක්‍ෂය.

සංඝාදිසේස, n. B., the remaining or second class of sins dealt with in the code pertaining to the priesthood, of which sins there are thirteen to which the priests are exposed, mentioned in the ප්‍රාතිමෝක්‍ෂය. When any one of these has been committed it must be confessed before the සංඝයා or assembly of priests, who then award the punishment due.

ස්ථිරය, n. what is firm, viz. mountain, කන්ද; final emancipation, මෝක්‍ෂය.
