අ දහනීය, a. not to be burnt, incombustible, දැවිය නොහැකි, නොදැවියයුතු.

අ ප්‍රත්‍යය, a. causeless, හේතුවක් නැති; without affix, ප්‍රත්‍යයක් නැති; the affix අ,අ යන ප්‍රත්‍යය.

අ ප්‍රත්‍යයෙන්, ad. causelesby, හේතුවක් නැතුව.

අ භව්‍ය, a. that cannot or ought not to exist, නොවියයුතු; unfit, improper, අයුතු.

අ මනුෂ්‍යයා, n. a non-human being, viz. a demon, devil or evil spirit, රාක්ෂසයා, යක්ෂයා.
