ෂඩංග, n. pl. (ෂට් අංග‍), the six divisions or parts of the body, viz. the arms, legs, head and trunk.

ෂඩංග·ජිත්, n. (ජිත් conqueror), ap. of Vishnu, as having power over the six parts of the body.

ෂඩංශ·ඝනය, n. (ෂට් අංශ), hexahedron, ඝන චතුරස්‍රය. E. S.

ෂඩහිඥයා, n (ෂට් අභි:), one who has sixfold knowledge; ap. of Buddha or a Rahat, බුදුන් or රහත්කෙනෙක්.

ෂඩහිඳා, n. sixfold knowledge, possessed only by Buddha and Rahats, attained by devout meditation, viz. divine perception, supernatural knowledge and hearing, remembrance of pre-existences, knowledge of the hearts of others and of the various kinds of Riddhi (ඍඬි) or power of ascending and passing through the air.
