අ ජරාමරාකාරයෙන්, ad. undecayingly and immortally, නොදිරනලෙස හා නොනසිනලෙස, අමරණීයලෙස.

අ දමනිය, a. untamable, unsubduable, යමෙක් විසින් හීලෑ or යටත් කළනොහැකිවූ.

අ ප්‍රසිඬ‍යෙන්, ad. privately, secretly, incognito, රහසින්, ප්‍රසිඬනැතිලෙස.

අ මුක්තය, n. non-missile, viz. hand-weapon, knife, වීසිනොකරන ආයුධය, පිහිය.

අගල මැඩහැස්වීම, v. n. filling up the ditch, &c. (fr මැඩසසිනවා.)

අට්ට හාසය, අට්ට හාස්‍යය, n. loud laughter, roar of laughter, හයියෙන් සිනාසීම.

අත පය ගසා නඟිනවා or බසිනවා, v. to scramble or climb up or down.

අති පරි හාස්‍ය, a. very laughable, very droll, සිනා උපදවන විහිලු.

අති හාසය, n. excessive laughter, loud laugh, අධික සිනාව, තදින් සිනාසීම.

අන්‍ය පුෂ්ට අන්‍ය භෘත, a. nourished or reared by another, අන්‍යයෙක් විසින් ඇතිකළ (සතා).

අන්‍ය වර්‍ධත, or අන්‍ය වද්ධිත, a. reared by another or a stranger, foster (child), අන්‍යයෙක් විසින් ඇතිකළ (ළමයෙක්).

අප්කිසිනු, n. E. of ආපෝකසින.

අරුණ, n. the sun, ඉර; dawn, අලුයම; red light of dawn; dark red or tawny colour; red lead, සින්දූර; a kind of leprosy.

ආ‍‍පෝ ක්සිනය, n. (ආ‍‍පෝ fr. ආප: water), supen natural power over the humours of the body, attained by ascetic meditation; ascetic observance or attainment so called, viz. fixing the mind exclusively upon the element of water. See පරිකසින.
