දස·සීලය, n. B. P., the tenfold duty or ten duties, viz. abstaining from killing, theft, falsehood, sexual intercourse, intoxicants, eating after mid-day, from dancing, singing, drum-beating, witnessing ludicrous exhibitions, from indulging in perfumes, unguents, personal adornments &c., from the use of high and luxurious seats or beds, from accepting gold or silver or money.

දුස්සීලයා, n. irreligious or immoral person.

සං·වර·සීලය, n. the virtue or practice by ascetics of self-control, closing the senses against external objects.

සරණ·සීලය, n. belief or trust in the threefold refuge, see තුන්සරණ.

සිල්, n. pl. of සීලය religious observances, virtue.

සීල, n. pl. of සීලය: duties, sp. religious duties and observances.

සීල·ව්‍රතය, n. (ව්‍රත observance), performance of moral and religious duties, සීලයපැවැත්වීම.

සීල·ස්කන්‍ධය, n. the whole body of moral and religious duties. (P. සීලක්ඛන්‍ධ.)

සීලමන්කරනවා, v. t. to pulverize, triturate, කුඩු කරනවා.
