අ තුරිත, a. (අ priv.), not nimble, dilatory, leisurely, bow, සුනංගු, අලස.

අංජලිය, n. the two hands united to form a bowl to drink out of, දෝත.

අට පිරිකර, n. pl. the eight accoutrements or articles required by a B. P., viz. bowl, under-garment, single robe, double robe, girdle, knife or razor, needle and water-strainer: පාත්‍රය, අඳනය, තනිපටසිවුර, දෙපටසිවුර, පටිය, පිහිය, ඉඳිකටුව, පෙරහන්කඩ.

අඩස්සිය, n. imprisonment (see හිරඅඩස්සිය); constriction, tightness, shortness (of breath), stoppage, stricture, obstruction, (of the bowels).

අත් මාරු ගසනවා, v. t. to beat (a drum) with hands and elbows, changing them about.

අති විරේකය, n. purging, looseness of the bowels, diarrhœa, අතිසාරය.

අතුණ n. E. of අන්ත්‍ර: the bowel, intestine, entrail, gut, බඩවැල: pl. අතුණු.

අතුණු, n. pl. or a. bowels, entrails; bowel-, enteric, intestinal, splanchnic; බඩවැල්.

අතුණු අරිනවා, v. to disembowel, eviscerate, බඩවැල් අරිනවා or ඇදදමනවා.

අතුණු දැවිල්ල, n. inflammation of the bowels, enteritis, බඩවැල් දැවිල්ල.

අතුණු වැල, n. the whole entrail or bowel, the alimentary canal, බඩවැල.

අදුන් සැර්‍ව, n. Arjuna's bow, අර්‍ජුනගේ දුන්න.

අධෝ අන්ත්‍රය, n. the lower bowel, rectum, පහත් බඩවැල.

අන්ත්‍ර, n. pl. or a. bowels, entrails; bowel, intestinal, enteric, splanchnic; බඩවැල්.

අන්ත්‍ර වෘඬිය, n. rupture, hernia of the bowels.
