එතනා, n. fem. lady or madarae: used chiefly amongst the Kandyans: comp. ළමාඑතනී.

කළු මදිනවා, v. t. blacken, rub in black (chiefly on olas to blacken the incised writing).

දෙන, දෙනා, n. pl. persons, used chiefly with numerals, as ඒ තුන්දෙන, those three persons, තුන්දෙනෙක්, three persons, මිනිස්සු ‍තුන් දෙ නෙක්, three men.

නකත්·කෙළිය, n. a festival, chiefly Hindu, at full moon in ඉල්මස (Oct. -Nov.).

බිඳිනවා, v. t. to break, fracture, snap, crack (of brittle things chiefly); pret. බින්දා; p. pl. බිඳ.

යජුර්‍වෙදය, n. (යජුස්වේදය), the Yajur Veda, one of the four Védas. It is divided into two parts, the black and the white, both of which are chiefly on religious rites, and its prayers are chiefly in metrical prose, යජුස්.

වජ්‍ර·කාන්තිය, n. a medicinal oil made chiefly from කිඩාරම් අල.
