අංග ජ, a. produced by the body, ශරීරයෙන් අට ගත්, as children, hair, blood, &c.

ආයා, n. children's nurse; pl. ආයලා or ආයාවරු.

කුමාරෝදය, n. (කුමාර උදය) birth of children, ළදරුවන්ගේ ඉපදිම.

තොත්තු·ගන්නවා, or ·දෙනවා, v. to kiss (little children).

දරු·මැහැල්ලී, n. woman who has children in advanced life, aged mother of children.

දරුමුනුබුරෝ, n. pl. children and grandchildren, descendants, posterity.

දෙ·බිහිණියෝ, n. pl. two sisters who are children of the same mother.

පංච·මහා·පරිත්‍යාග, n. pl. H., the five principal surrenders or kinds of worship presented: to spirits, progenitors and gods by offerings, to the Vedas by study, and to mankind by hospitality; B., five offerings made by Buddha alone: eyes, flesh, blood, head, wife and children.

පණු·දිය, n. baver, excessive saliva of children, supposed to arise from worms.

ප්‍ර·ජාතාව, n woman who has home children, a mother, මව්.

ප්‍රජා·හිත, a. (හිත adj. suitable &c.), suitable or favourable or kind to the people, subjects or children, සෙනගට., &c. සුදුසු.

පාරමිතාව, n. crossing over, attainment; sp. the complete performance of B. ordinances as a prerequisite to Buddhaship. Each one of these, expressing the observance generally, is subdivided into උප, secondary, and පරමාර්‍ථ, paramount or supreme: expressing an inferior or pre-eminent observance of the duty, as දානෝපපාරමිතාව, referring to gifts of secondary or inferior kind, such as gold, silver &c., and දානපරමාර්‍ථ පාරමිතාව, to gifts of the highest kind, such as wife, children, one's own body &c. These make in all සමත්‍රිංශත් පාරමිතා, viz. a total of thirty පාරමිතා.

පුත්‍ර·දාරාවෝ, n. pl. children and wife, අඹුදරු වෝ, wife and children.

පුත්‍ර·ප්‍රජාතාව, පුත්‍ර·ප්‍රජාතනී, n. (ප්‍රජාතා &c., one who has borne, mother), a woman who has borne children, mother of children.

පුත්‍ර·පෞත්‍රයෝ, n. pl. children and grandchildren, දරුමුනුබුරෝ.
