අනභිඬ්‍යාව, n. absence of covetousness, තණ්‍හා නැතිකම, නිර්‍ලෝභිකම.

අභි ධ්‍යානය, අභි ධ්‍යාව, n. (අභි emp., ධ්‍යාන &c., fixing the mind on), covetousness, avarice, තණ්හාව; meditation, භාවනාව.

අභි ධ්‍යානයකරනවා, අභි ධ්‍යාවෙනවා, v. to covet, be covetous, ආශාවෙනවා.

තණ්හා·පතිකම, n. avariciousness, covetousness.

තණ්හාව, n. desire, avarice, sordidness, covetousness.

තණ්හාවෙනවා, v. i. to desire, covet, be avaricious.

දසාකුසල්, n. pl. (දස අකුසල්) B, the ten demerits or sins, viz. killing, theft, adultery,‍ lying, reviling, bander, vain talk, covetousness, malice, heterodoxy.

නි·වෘත, a. surrounded, වටවී තිබෙන; coveted, hidden, clothed, වැසී තිබෙන.

පංච·ස්කන්‍ධ, n. pl. the five divisions or constituents of man: රූපස්කන්‍ධය &c., viz, රූපය, the body; වේදනාස්කන්‍ධය, feeling, perception; සංඥාස්කන්‍ධය, bare recognition or apprehension; සංස්කාරස්කන්‍ධය, moral or mental state, as of covetousness or doubt &c. to the number of fifty different states; විඥනස්ක න්‍ධය, knowledge, consciousness. The five are divided into two parts, නාම and රූප, of which four ස්කන්‍ධ, portions, belong to නාමය or the mind.

ප්‍ර·ලෝභ, ප්‍ර ලෝභි, a. very covetous, sordid, miserly, ඉතා ලෝභවූ.

ප්‍ර·ලෝභකරනවා, v. t. to desire or covet; allure, ඔජකරනවා. E. S.
