කින්නර, n. human-headed centaur, also hippocentaur, a demigod in the service of Kuwera.

කින්නරාංගනාව, n. (ර අං:), fem. of කින්නරයා: female centaur or demigoddess.

කිඳුරා, n. E. of කින්නරයා: a fabulous being, human in the upper part, bird-like in the lower: anthropornis, a demigod in the service of Kuwéra and celestial musician; pl. කිඳුරෝ or කිඳුරු.

ඛේචරයා, n. lit. sky-traveller: applied to any of the heavenly bodies, also an arrow, a cloud, a bird; a kind of of demigod; ap. of Siva.

ගුහ්‍යක, n. a demigod who attends on කුවේර and guards his treasures.

චතුම්භා·රජිකයෝ, n. pl. the four demigods who are regents of the cardinal points.

චාතුම්භා·රජිකය, n. (චතුර් four, මහාරජිකය what pertains to the demigods called මහා රාජිකායෝ), the first or lowest heaven, the residence of those demigods, who are regents of the four quarters of the world; the sky, අහස.

ජයන්තයා, n. a hero and demigod, son of Indra; ap. of Siva, ශිවදෙවියෝ, and of the moon,හඳ.

නාග·භවනය, n. the residence or world of the Nāgas or serpent demigods, called also පාතා ලය: see නාගයා.

නාගයා, n. cobra, නයා, serpent, සර්‍පයා; demigod of පාතාල the infernal regions, who is a human-faced serpent; Rāhu the ascending node, රාහු.

මහෝරගයා, n. (මහා උරගයා), any large snake, ලොකු සර්‍පයා; a demigod who is king of serpents and an inhabitant of පාතාලය.

යක්‍ෂයා, n. devil, demon, fiend; H. myth. demigod attendant on කුවේරා, such are guardians of his treasures and gardens.
