අ භූෂ, අ භූෂිත, a. unadorned, unembellished, සැරසී නැති, plain, චාම්.

අග්‍ර හායනය, n. end of the year, viz. the month so called, November-December.

අඟුර, n charcoal, carbon; pl. අඟුරු, embers.

අඟුරු කබල, n. potsherd of embers, a few embers on a potsherd.

අන්සීනයා, n. (fr. අංස part, හීන deficient), a cripple, one lacking a member of his body, අබ්බාගාතයා.

අනු ස්මරණයකරනවා, v. t. to remember, සිහි කරනවා.

අභි සංස්කාරය, n. (අභි well, සං: putting together or doing), collecting, preparing, පිළි යෙළකිරීම; completing, perfecting, සම්පූර්‍ණ කිරීම; purifying, embellishing, සැරසීම; apprehension, conception, තේරුම්ගැනීම. See සංස්කාරය.

අලංකාරකරනවා, v. t. to beautify, adorn, ornament, decorate, embellish.

අලංකෘත, a. made beautiful, adorned, embellished, ornate, සරසනලද, ලක්ෂණ කරනලද.

අවයවය, n. limb or member of the body, member of a society &c,; premiss, තර්‍කාංගය; news, ආරංචිය.

අශ්වයුජ, අශ්විනිය, n. first lunar mansion or constellation in the moon's path, it contains three-stars figuring a horse's head in Aries, අස්විදනැකත; the month September-October, බිණරමස.

ආ ධ්‍යානය, n. remembering, සිහිකිරීම, thinking, සිතීම.

ආනා පාන සතිය, ආනා පාන සමෘතිය, n. remembering or meditating severally upon one's inspiration and expiration.

ආවජ්ජිනාකරනවා, v. t. to remember: consider, cogitate, excogitate, සිහිකරනවා, කල්පනාකර බලනවා.

ආවර්‍ජජිත, a. remembered, මතක්වූ, considered &c., කල්පනාකරබැලූ.
