ගණන්කරනවා, v. t. to count, enumerate; calculate, reckon, compute.

ගණිත, a. counted, enumerated, ගණන්කරන ලද; arithmetical, ගණිත ශාස්ත්‍රයට අයිතිවු.

ගණිනවා, v. t. to enumerate, count, reckon; pret. ගැන්නා; p. pl. ගැණලා; v. n. ගැණිම or ගිණිම.

ගැණිම, ගැණුම, v. n. of ගැණිනවා and ගැණෙන වා: reckoning, counting, enumerating. Also for ගැනීම, v. n. of ගන්නවා.

භූතය, n. element, five elements are enumerated, viz. earth, air, water, fire and space, ආකාශය; fact, matter, any existing thing (either animate or inanimate); fourteenth day of the moon's wane.
