අට ගුණ, අටඟ, a. eightfold, octuple.

අට ගුණයක්, n. eightfold quantity.

අටඟ මග, n. (අට, අග portion, section), the eightfold way to Nirvāna, i. e. the way embracing eight sections, viz. — 1. සම්‍යක් දෘෂ්ටිය, right view, orthodoxy. 2. සම්‍යක් සංකල්පනාව, right volition or determination. 3. සම්‍යක් වචනය, right speech. 4. සම්‍යක් කර්‍මන්තය, right action. 5. සම්‍යක් ආජීවය, right living or livelihood. 6. සම්‍යක් ව්‍යායාමය, right effort. 7. සම්‍යක් සමෘතිය, right remembrance or contemplation of the past. 8. සම්‍යක් සමාධිය, right meditation.

අටල්ල, n. high stand, scaffold, as an observatory for the field watchman, &c; pl. අටලු.

අත පෙරවනවා, v. to fold the arm across the breast; pl. අත් පෙරවනවා, to fold the arms.

අනේ, අනේක, a. (අන් එක), not one only, several, manifold, various, නොයෙක්.

අනේක ප්‍රකාර, අනේකාකාර, a. various, manifold, multiform, multifarious, mixed, නො යෙක් ආකාර, මිශ්‍ර.

අෂ්ට ගුණ, a. eightfold, octuple, අටගුණයක (ඒවා).
