අ ප්‍රයෝකතව්‍ය, a. (අ priv., ප්‍ර emp., යෝකත්ව්‍ය that should be joined), not to he applied, inapplicable, අදාළනොවන.

අ සං යුක්ත, a. disjunct, disjoined, නොබැඳි, disorganised, අසම්බන්ධ, unimbued or unendowed with, යුක්ති නැති.

අ සං ලග්න, a. disjoined, disjunct, නොබැඳි, වෙන් වු, අසම්බන්ධ.

අ සන්ධිත, a. not joined, unconnected, නොබැඳි, අසම්බන්ධ.

අනු යුක්ත, a. joined with, added to, එකතුවු.

ආ දිෂ්ට, a. commanded, enjoined, අණකරනලද: shown, දක්වනලද.

ඇදිලිය, n. the fingers or palms of the hands when joined.

ඇසිර, ඇසුරු, a. joined, associated, consorting with, ආශ්‍රයකරන.

කූට්ටු, a. T., associated, united, joined, සම්බන්ධ, බැඳි.

කෘතාංජලි, a. having the palms of the hands joined for making obeisance or holding water: see අංජලිය.

ගැළපෙනවා, v. i. to become joined, linked or fitted together, unite, cohere, agree; pret. ගැළපුණ.

ඝටිත, a. made, joined, ගැළපීතිබෙන.

ඤ, n. The tenth consonant of the Sanskrit and Pali alphabets and nasal of the palatal or second class. It is often written by the shorter from [ං], as in ආරංචි, වංචා, by [`], චචා. In Sansorit and its derivatives it never stands as an initial or alone, but joined to the following consonant either in its full or shortened form, as වඤ්වා, වංචා, වචා.

ද, inter. part. joined to the last or distinctive word, of the interrogation, as මේක හොඳද? Is this good.

නුමුත්, conj. (න+මුත්), but: (joined to a verb) though, although, as ඔහුගිය නුමුත්, though he went.
