දස·සීලය, n. B. P., the tenfold duty or ten duties, viz. abstaining from killing, theft, falsehood, sexual intercourse, intoxicants, eating after mid-day, from dancing, singing, drum-beating, witnessing ludicrous exhibitions, from indulging in perfumes, unguents, personal adornments &c., from the use of high and luxurious seats or beds, from accepting gold or silver or money.

නෛෂක්‍රම්‍ය·පාරමිතාව, n. the ordinance or observance of asceticism. Buddha is set forth as the great example in this respect, having forsaken all his royal luxuries and retired into solitude, where, after six years of religious austerities and meditation, he attained Buddhahood. ප්‍රත්‍යය·සන්තිශ්‍රීත·ශිලය, n. (ප්‍රත්‍යය aids, සන්තිශ්‍රිත having, ශිලය duty), B. P., the duty or observance fulfilled by using as necessaries, not as luxuries, the four aids, viz, food, robes, seats, and medicines provided by others.

සැප, සැපවත්, a. luxurious, pleasurable, in well-being.

සැප·ජීවිකාව, n. luxurious life or living, luxury.

සැප·විහරණය, n. (විහරණය dwelling or passing time), luxurious life, passing one's time in happiness or ease, සැපෙන් පසුවීම.

සැපෙන්, සැපතින්, ad. in luxury, comfort or well-being, luxuriouby, comfortably.

සුහුඹුල්, a. (සු, සුබල), well-grown, flourishing, luxuriant, හොඳට වැඩුණු, සශ්‍රීකවූ.
