ගණන්කරනවා, v. t. to count, enumerate; calculate, reckon, compute.

ගණිත, a. counted, enumerated, ගණන්කරන ලද; arithmetical, ගණිත ශාස්ත්‍රයට අයිතිවු.

ගණිනවා, v. t. to enumerate, count, reckon; pret. ගැන්නා; p. pl. ගැණලා; v. n. ගැණිම or ගිණිම.

ගැණිම, ගැණුම, v. n. of ගැණිනවා and ගැණෙන වා: reckoning, counting, enumerating. Also for ගැනීම, v. n. of ගන්නවා.

ගුණකය, n. arith. multiplier, numerator.

භූතය, n. element, five elements are enumerated, viz. earth, air, water, fire and space, ආකාශය; fact, matter, any existing thing (either animate or inanimate); fourteenth day of the moon's wane.

ලවණෂ්ටය, n. (ලවණ, අෂ්ට eight), the eight chief salts enumerated by native druggists, viz. (with ලුණු to each) උද්භිද, කළු, බළල්, මුහුදු, or මුදු, යවකාර, රෝම,සුවය and සෛන්‍ධ ව. See each in its place.
