කෘතාන්තයා, n. death personified, මරහු; Yama or Pluto, යම.

ගංගායනි, n. ap. of Krishna, being a personification of the Ganges as wife of Santanu.

මෝහිනී, n. fem. infatuating one, viz. female demon or personification of lust that overpowers reason by worldly allurements.

යමුනා·ගඟ, යමුනා, n. the Juamna river, which takes its rise on the south side of the Himalayan range a little to the northwest of the source of the Ganges; in H. myth. the river is personified as the daughter of Súrya and sister of Yama.
