අකුරකින් විදිනවා, v. to shoot with a small stone for augury. This is done by taking stones between the two fore-fingers and projecting them against the bark and leaves of trees and then predicting coming events according to the marks made by the stones.

අනාගත වාක්‍ය කියනවා, v. to foretell, prophesy, predict, vaticinate, මතු සිදුවන දේ කියන‍වා or දන්වනවා.

අනාගත වාක්‍යය, n. prediction, prophecy, vaticination, මතු සිදුවන දේ කීම, &c.

දිවස්·කියනවා, v. to foretell, predict, augur.

සද්ධර්‍මාන්තර්‍ධානය, n. (·අන්ත:), extinction of the true doctrine, viz. of Buddhism, which Buddha predicted would be in the කලියුගය, the iron or evil age.

සා·මුද්‍රිකා·ශාස්ත්‍රය, n. lit. spot-science, prediction or fortune-telling by spots on the body.

හෝරා·ශාස්ත්‍රය, n. hour-science, viz, that part of astrology which notes the time of birth and thereby predicts a person's fortune.
