ආ වර්‍තත, ආ වර්‍තතන, a. turning, stirring (an infusion &c.), කලතන; revolving, කැරකෙන, returning, හැරීඑන.

ඇවිස්සෙනවා, v. i. to become irritated, roused, stirred up, moved; pret. ඇවිස්සුණා.

කකාරනවා, v. t. to decoct, make a decocting (by stirring in the sun or on fire); pret. කැකෑරුවා or කකාළා; v. n. කැකෑරීම.

කැලති, කැලතුණු, v. adj. pret. of කැලතෙනවා: stirred up.

කැලතෙනවා, කැලැත්තෙනවා, v. i. to be stirred about or up (as a liquid); pret. කැලතුණ, කැලත්තුණ.

කැලැත්තීම, v. n. of කලත්තනවා and කැලැත් තෙනවා: stirring up.

මථනය, n. (මථ to agitate, churn), stirring about, churning, යොදේ වත්ගෑම; fig. subjugation, මදිනය.

මථිත, a. or n. stirred, churned, මත්ගාපු; what has been churned, viz. butter-milk, කිරිමෝරු.

මන්‍දර, n. a mountain so called, with which, it is said, the ocean waa stirred up or churned by the Suras and Asuras after the deluge to recover the sacred things lost therein; a tree of Paradise or ස්වර්‍ගය. See මදරගිර.

ලුලිත, a. stirred, agitated, චලිත, සෙලවෙන, trembling, වෙවුලන, tremulous, චංචල.

සැලීම, සැලුම, v. n. of සලනවා and සැලෙනවා: shaking, stirring, trembling, quaking, shake, stir, සෙලවීම, චංචලය.

හැලලී, p. pl. of හැලලෙනවා: stirred, agitated, සෙලවී, කැලඹී.
