අ ව්‍යවහෘත, a. unusual, novel, fresh, අපුරු, අමුතු.

අ සාධාරණ, a. not general, සාමාන්‍යනොවන, special, විශේෂ; but usually inequitable, partial, unjust, unfair, අනඩු, පක්ෂපාත, අයුතු.

අ සාමාන්‍ය, a. not general, unusual, uncommon, සාමාන්‍ය නොවන.

අ සාමාන්‍යතාව, n. state of not being general, unusualness &c., සාමාන්‍යනැතිකම.

අහම්බෙන්, ad. suddenly, casually, incidentally, accidentally, හදිසියෙන්.

ආ ගන්තුක, a. arriving, එන, unusual, guest-, අමුතු, strange, අපූරු.

ආ ගන්තුක ජවරය, n. casual fever, අහම්බෙන් සිදුවෙන උණ.

ආ තර්‍පණ, a. (ආ emp.), satisfying, assuaging, සංසිඳුවන.

ඇල්·වී, paddy grown on dry ground as distinguished from swamp-grown paddy, usually called hill-paddy.

ඉන්ද්‍රිය ජ ධර්‍ම දෘෂ්ටිය, n. men. phil. sensationalism, sensualism.

එළවනවා, v. t. to drive away; පස්සේ...... to pursue, chase; bring about, cause, as සැප එළවනවා; bring forward, adduce (as arguments); සිත......to make desirous of, induce, persuade, කැමතිකරනවා; pret. එළෙවුවා; v. n. එළවීම.

කරගනයාම, v. n. of above: persistence or continuance in doing, pursuance.
