අ ජීවකයා, n. one who has killed (his passions), viz. naked H. mendicant. whose nakedness is supposed to prove it.

අග්නි ගර්‍භය, n. lit. fire-womb, viz., crystal, පළිඟු; the sun-stone, supposed to contain solar heat, සූර්‍ය්‍යකාන්තය.

අනු මාන වාචක, a. expressive of doubt, suppositive, අනුමානබව හැඟෙන.

අහස් ගඟ, n. celestial river, supposed to issue from the foot of mount කෛලාස; the milky-way.

ඇස් වහ, n. lit. eye-poison: evil or envious eye, evil or injury supposed to be produced by the glance thereof.

ඕම්, n. the mystic name of the H. Trinity, supposed to be compounded of, අ, උ, ම්, signifying respectively Vishnu, Siva and Brahma.

ඕෂධී තාරකාව, n. herb-star, supposed to preside over herbs and medicine; morning star, පහන්තාරකාව.

කණ්ඨ මණිය, කණ්ඨ මාණික්‍යය, n. throat-jewel, jewel worn on the throat; gem supposed to be found in the throat of the cobra.

කල්පනාකරනවා, v. to reflect, think, suppose; consider.

කල්පනාව, n. reflection, consideration; supposition, notion, opinion.

කල්පිත (fr. root of කල්පනා), supposed, putative, සිතනලද; invented, prepared, යොදන ලද.

කලාව, n. digit or one sixteenth of the lunar diameter; one of the minor arts, as singing or playing on an instrument; a division or portion of time, කාලභේදය; supposed influence of the moon on the human body.

කුශාවති, කසාවතී, n. a city of India supposed to be Rāmnagar.

කෘෂ්ණ, n. Krishna, who is supposed to have been a real and complete incarnation of Vishnu, and quite distinct from Vishnu's ten other avatārs or incarnations. He is said to be a mild and beneficent deity. Ap. of Arjuna, charioteer of the sun.

ග්‍රයණය, n. taking, accepting, seizing, seizure, ගැනීම, ඇල්ලීම; eclipse of the sun or moon (supposed to be seized by Rāhu).
