අ සංවාසික, a. not dwelling together, expelled (as a priest from co-residsnce), outcast, පහ කරනලද.

අක්ෂර සංස්ථානය, n. (සංස්ථානය placing together), collocation of letters, writing, ලිය විල්ල, ලේඛනය.

අඟුල් පොල්ල, n. double-canoe bar, pole that fastens the canoes together.

අඟුළ, n. double canoe, canoes fastened together with a floor laid on them; inch (see අඟල).

අඩුක් කරනවා, අඩුක්කු කරන‍වා, v. t. fr. T., to pile up in order, arrange together, pack, stack.

අඩුක් වෙනවා, v. i. to pack or fit well together.

අත් හපාගන්නවා, v. to smite one's hands together (for joy or anger, &c).

අනු ගායනාව, n. singing or playing together, accompaniment, එක්ව කරන ගායනාව.

අනු බන්ධනය n. binding together, connecting, appending, සන්ධිකෙරීම; appendage, appurtenance, concomitant, සම්බන්ධවු දෙය.

අභවකාසිකාංගය, n. (අංගය), open-air ordinance, viz. the ordinance in B. which requires monks to live altogether without shelter.

අභි සංස්කාරය, n. (අභි well, සං: putting together or doing), collecting, preparing, පිළි යෙළකිරීම; completing, perfecting, සම්පූර්‍ණ කිරීම; purifying, embellishing, සැරසීම; apprehension, conception, තේරුම්ගැනීම. See සංස්කාරය.

අවුලවනවා, v. c. of අවුලනවා, to cause to pick up or gather together, to get picked up &c.; to hook; pret. ඇවුලෙවුවා: v. n. ඇවුලවීම.

ආ චිත, a. heaped, collected together, රැස්කරනලද.

ඇතිල්ලෙනවා, v. i. to rub together; prat. ඇතුල්ලුණා.
