කුමාරිය, n. In H. cosmology the central part of the Universe, viz. Jambudwipa or India, sp. the southern part terminating in cape Comorin or Kumāri; also a river issuing from mount Saktiman. Bot.

කේතු මාලය, කේතු මාලාව, n. one of the nine great divisions of the world, India or western part of Jambu-dwipa.

තෙත·මාත්තුකරනවා, v. to wipe off moisture, wipe dry.

පලාල·පීඨකය, n. straw mat for wiping the feet, door-mat; capital punishment by beating the culprit till he becomes like a bundle of straw.

පා·බිස්ස, n. mat or bundle of straw for wiping the feet, door-mat.

පිස, p. pl. of පිසිනවා: having wiped, rubbed.

පිස්නා·කඩය, (or කඩේ), n. wiping cloth, napkin, towel, තුවාය.

පිසිනවා, v. t. to wipe, rub off (dust &c.); pret. පිස්සා.

පිසීම, පිසුම, v. n. of පිසිනවා wiping, and of පිස නවා cooking.

පිහ·දමනවා, v. t. to wipe, wipe off, dust, sweep.

පිහි, v. adj. pret. of පිහිනවා: wiped, පිහපු; also closed, වැසූ.

පිහිනවා, v. t. to rub, wipe; pret. පිස්සා.
