ගොදුරු, n. pl. of ගොදුර : fodder &c; the five senses. See ගෝචරය.

ගංගා ධරයා, n. lit. bearer or holder of the Ganges, viz. the ocean, සමුද්‍රය; ap. of Siva on whose head, it is said, the Ganges first descended and continued for some time amongst his hair.

ගොත, a. stuttering, stammering, involved (in speech).

ගසනවා, ගහනවා, v. with dat.: to strike, knock, give a blow; v. t. with acc.: to affix (one thing to another by nailing &c.), as ලැලි ගහනවා to afflx boards, to board; ඇණයක් ගහනවා, to drive in a nail; pret. ගැසුවා; v. n. ගැසීම.

ගලනීය, a. fusible, soluble, දියකළ හැකිවූ.

ගිරි·පුෂ්පකය, n. bitumen, asphalt, ගල්කීල්.

ගල්·බෙයද, n. rock-fissure, පර්‍වත විවරය.

ග්‍රාම·වාසය, n. mas. villager, ruralist, ගම්වැසියා.

ගුරු·ප්‍රසාදි·තැන, ගරු·ප්‍රසාදි·වරයා, n. R.C. priest, minister.

ගොයි·ගැටය, n. agriculture-knot, viz. the first wisp of straw in threshing tied in a knot and hidden in the heap of paddy until the measurerment and division of the whole produce of grain is finished.
