ගන්නවා, v. t. to take, accept; buy. Used also with the p. pl. of another verb to express the reflexive sense or that the action is done to or for one's self or mutually, as ඔහු ගෙයක් සාදාගත්තා. He built himself a house; ඔවුන් කථාකරගත්තා. They conversed together; pret. ගත්තා; p. pl. ගන or ගෙන; v. n. ගැනීම.

ගලිනවා, v. t. to swallow; pret. ගැල්ලා; see ගිලිනවා.

හැඩ·පණුවා, ගැඩලුවා, ගැඩ·විලා, ගැඩ·විල්·පණුවා, n. large earth-worm, bow-worm, blind-worm.

ගිනිලනවා, v. to set fire to.

ගිළී, a. fallen off or out, වැටුණු.

ගෙරියා, n. one of the ox kind: bullock, buffalo, හරකා; also medium sized black ant; pl. ගෙරි or ගෙරියෝ.
