ගණ දෙටුවා, n. president of an assembly, සභා පතියා.

ගානවා, v. t. to smear, to plaster, rub on or over; rub; draw (as a bow or the fingers across a violin &c.); pret. ගෑවා; v. n. ගෑම.

ග්‍රයණය, n. taking, accepting, seizing, seizure, ගැනීම, ඇල්ලීම; eclipse of the sun or moon (supposed to be seized by Rāhu).

ගුඩු·ගෙඩිය, n. a shrivelled fruit, වේලිච්චගෙඩිය.

ගුරුකම, n. instruction, lesson, doctrine

ගෘහ·ගෝධාව, ගෘහ·ගෝධිකාවා, n. house lizard, gecko, හූනා.

ගහනවෙනවා, v. i. to become dense, thick or close one to another; abound in; become numerous, multiply.

ගංගා ධරයා, n. lit. bearer or holder of the Ganges, viz. the ocean, සමුද්‍රය; ap. of Siva on whose head, it is said, the Ganges first descended and continued for some time amongst his hair.

ගරුඩාසනයා, n. (·ආසනය), ap. of Vishnu as seated on Garuda the king of birds.
