අත් කම, n. (කම for කර්‍මය), hand-work, හස්ත කර්‍මාන්තය.

අෂ්ට විද්‍යා, n. pl. the eight kinds of knowledge possessed by Rahats, viz. 1 knowledge attained by religious meditation, 2 knowledge of how to perform supernatural things, 3 knowledge of the various supernatural powers, 4 divine or supernatural hearing, 5 knowledge of others' hearts, 6 knowledge of previous existences, 7 divine sight, 8 knowledge of how to subdue the passions.

අවධූනනයකරනවා, v. t. to shake off, සොලවා දමනවා.

අ විශ්වාස, a. untrustworthy, uncertain, elusory, unfaithful, විශ්වාස නැති; unbelieving, විශ්වාස නොකරන.

අ සිඬ, a. unaccomplished, සිඬනූණ, incomplete, immature, අසම්පූර්‍ණ; unripe, පැහිලානැති.

අක්ෂි පුට ස්නායුව, n. cartilage of the eyelid, tarsus, ඇසිපියේ නහරය.

අ විද්‍යාව, n. absence of knowledge, ignorance, නොදැනීම, නොදැනුම්කම.

අරවා, pron. pl. for අරඒවා: those things; pl. of අරක.

අනු නායක උන්නාන්සේ, n. B. P. the secondhigh-priest.

අ චේඡ්ද්‍ය, a. (අ ඡේද්‍ය), not to be cut or separated, කැපිය or වෙන්කළ නොයුතු; inseparable, indivisible,වෙන්කළනොහැකිවූ (දේ).
