අනු වර්‍තතිවෙනවා, v. i. to result, redound, ප්‍රතිඵලවශයෙන් සිඬවෙනවා.

අඳුන් වළ, n. collyrium cavity (under the eye).

අශ්ම රස, අශ්ම සාර, n. lit. stone essence, viz. iron, යකඩ; also රසාඤ්ජන, which see.

අනාශ්‍රසස, n. separateness. independence, තහි බව, වසඟනැතිව.

අ සාර, a. pithless, infertile, sterile; innutritious, inefficacious, profitless, vain; සරුනැති, පෝෂ්‍යගුණ නැති, නිෂ්ඵල.

අ තෘප්ත, අ තෘප්ති, අ තෘප්තිමත්, a. unsatisfied, greedy, unsated, insatiable, තෘප්තියට නොපැ මුණුණු or නොපැමිණෙන.

අෂ්ට දුෂ්ට ක්ෂණ, n. pl. the eight evil moments or occasions, viz. to be born 1 in hell, 2 as an animal, 3 as a goblin, 4 in the two Brahma worlds where neither body nor mind exists, 5 in outer or distant countries where Buddhism is not, 6 with the five senses perverted or confused, 7 as a pagan, 8 in a Buddhaless age.

අන්තර්‍ගතකරනවා, v. t. to include, embody, intercalate, අඩංගුකරනවා.

අද, p.pl. of එනවා; having come, ඇවිත්.

අලගුව, n. (cowrie &c., used as) a counter, reckoner, mark.
