ඇඹුල්කරනවා, v. t. to render sour, acidulate.

ඇකිළෙනවා, v. i. to curl up, shrink, shrivel, warp; to writhe, flinch, cower; pret. ඇකුළුණ.

ඇනුම් පදය, n. sarcasm, satire, irony, invective.

ඇත, ඇති, v. There is or are; there is or are enough, sufficit; used also as a verb aux.: with the present, to express the future; with the preterite, to express the perfect with diffidence; with the infinitive to express probability, as ඔහු යන්ට ඇත, He must have — has probably—gone.

ඇහිරෙනවා, v. i. to become stopped up, choked or blocked up (as a hole &c.); become stopped in (as what fills the hole &c.); settle together, roost; pret. ඇහුරුණ.

ඇඹීම, v. n. of අඹනවා: shaping, moulding; driving away.

ඇඹලයා, n. a small red ant of acid taste.
