දාවය, n. fire, ගින්න, heat, රස්නය; conflagration (as of a forest), දැවීම.

දස·බල, දසඹුල්, n. pl. the ten powers or tenfold bodily power of Buddha, said to equal that of three hundred thousand billions of men or ten times that of a ඡද්දන්ත elephant, the strongest of the ten kinds: see දශනාග කුල; as adj. ep. of Buddha.

දිව·ගඳ, n. See දිවසුවඳ.

දළ·කඩ, n. piece of coarse cloth; (fr. දළය) piece of ivory.

දැඩිතර, a. very strong or hard, ඉතා සවි.

දක්‍ෂයා, n. clever person; name of a son of Brahma. He was called දක්‍ෂ because he sprang into being from the right-hand thumb of his father.
