දර්‍ශය, n. sight, seeing, දැකුම; day of the new moon, අලුත් හඳේ දවස; sacrifice on that day.

දුරස්තර, a. distant, remote, දුරවූ.

ද්වා·දශාංග, n. the one having twelve portions ද්වා·දශාත්ම, or souls; ap. of the sun (ඉර), as undergoing change in each month.

දේවාශ්වයා, n. divine horse or horse of Indra, meta. the wind, හුළඟ.

දස·සීලය, n. B. P., the tenfold duty or ten duties, viz. abstaining from killing, theft, falsehood, sexual intercourse, intoxicants, eating after mid-day, from dancing, singing, drum-beating, witnessing ludicrous exhibitions, from indulging in perfumes, unguents, personal adornments &c., from the use of high and luxurious seats or beds, from accepting gold or silver or money.
