අමුතු බත, n. fresh rice (cooked for strangers); first cooked rice (of the harvest).

අස්සෙන්, ad. through an aperture.

අල්ප චේෂ්ටිත, a. inert, inactive, උනන්දු නැති; little sought.

අ චේතන, අ චේතනික, අ චේතසික, අ චේතසක, a. destitute of mind or thought, සිහිබුද්ධි නැති; unconscious, දැනීමනැති; inanimate, lifeless, පණනැති; involuntary, involitive (mood, &c.), ඉබේ වෙන්නාවූ, අකර්‍මක.

අ දයාවත්, a. unpitying, unmerciful, inhuman, දයානැති.

අ කුශල, a. demeritorious, කුසල්නැති; unhappy, කාලකණ්ණි; inexpert, අසමර්‍ථ.

අපේක්ෂා ජනක, a. producing hope, promising, බලාපොරොත්තු උපදවන.

අටගන්වනවා, v. t. to breed, generate, engender, produce, raise up; pret. අටගැන්නුවා; v. n. අටගැන්වීම

අ පෞෂකල්‍ය, a. immature, නොපැසුණු, අමු.

අ ච්ඡාදනයකරනවා, v. t. (අ priv.,ච් euphonic, ඡාදන covering), to cover, වසනවා, don, clothe, අඳිනවා.
