නිෂීදනය, n. sitting, වාඩිවීම; anything spread to sit on, ඇතිරිල්ල.

නිය, n. frankincense, තුවරලා; river, ගඟ.

නිශ්, prefix, priv., euphonically before ච and ශ for නිර්‍ or නි:.

නිදැලි, a. shameless, ලජ්ජානැති.

නිරාහාරය, n. lack of food, fast, fasting.

නවතිනවා, v. i. to stop, cease, desist; stay, remain, wait; pret. නැවතුණ; v. n. නැවතීම.

නිදාන·ත්‍රය, n. the three origins or periods of the existence of Gautama as බෝධිසත්‍ව and බුදුන්, viz. from his resolve to attain Buddhahood to his birth in the Tusita Paradise; the next, from that priod to his attainment of Buddhahood, and third from that attainment till his death.

නලංගුව, n. dejection, anxiety, care, melancholy.

නෞ·තාර්‍ය්‍ය, a. navigable, නැව් ගියහැකිවූ (ගංගා &c.)
