නිදාන·ත්‍රය, n. the three origins or periods of the existence of Gautama as බෝධිසත්‍ව and බුදුන්, viz. from his resolve to attain Buddhahood to his birth in the Tusita Paradise; the next, from that priod to his attainment of Buddhahood, and third from that attainment till his death.

නිරාශ, a. desireless, hopeless, ආශානොවන, බලාපොරොත්තුනොවන.

නයනෞෂධය, n. (නයන ඖෂධය), eye-medicine, a collyrium, green sulphate of iron.

නි·ෂ්ඨිවනය, නි·ෂ්ඨීවය, n. (නි forth), spitting, spittle, sputum, කෙළ.

නියර, n. dam, embankment, weir (of paddy field).

නිෂ්කලංක·ගන්නවා, or නිස්කලංක v. to take leisure, ease or recreation, relax, නිවාඩු ගන් නවා.

නිමිති·අහනවා, v. to ask or consult a soothsayer, who pretends to discover lost things &c., by omens.

නිරගිල, a. (නිර් අගිල) unbolted, අගුළදමානැති; unobstructed, unimpeded, බාධානැති.

නි·ගමනය, n. sight, seeing, දැකීම; hearing, ඇසීම.
