නමස්කාර·පාඨය, n the sentence uttered when worshipping Buddha, viz. නමොතස්ස &c., I worship &c.

නිජීරයා, n. an immortal, viz. a deity, a god, දේවතාවා.

නිදාන·ත්‍රය, n. the three origins or periods of the existence of Gautama as බෝධිසත්‍ව and බුදුන්, viz. from his resolve to attain Buddhahood to his birth in the Tusita Paradise; the next, from that priod to his attainment of Buddhahood, and third from that attainment till his death.

නෙත්ති·මාලය, n. forehead-garland or head-dress of an elephant.

නුවණ, n. prudence, understanding, skill.

නැඟිටිනවා, නැගිටෙනවා, v. i. to take a standing posture, arise, as from a beep or seat or death; pret. නැඟිටුණ or නැගිට්ටා; v. n. නැඟිටීම.

නුවර·වැසියා, n. inhabitant of a city, citizen, townsman.

නර·දිය·හැළිය, n. chamber utensil.

නි·වතා, n. poor person, වත්කම නැත්තා, දිළිඳා.

නයිරුති, n. demon, fiend, රකුසා.
