නැළවිල්ල, නැළවීම, v. n. of නළවනවා: lulling &c.

නිරාශ්වාස, a. breathless, not taking breath, හුස්මනොගන්න.

නන්‍දිය, n. gambling, සූදුකෙළිය; both, අලස කම; happiness, සැපත.

නි·කම්, a. mere, ordinary, common.

නිශා·රණය, n. night war or attack, රාත්‍රි යුද්ධය; killing, baughter, මරාදැමීම.

නියඟලා·අල, n. a kind of yam, gloriosa superba.

නිස්සාරකරනවා, v. t. to render barren, impoverish (ground &c.); render futile.

නැව්·පතියා, n. sea-captain, ship-captain.

නිදාන·ත්‍රය, n. the three origins or periods of the existence of Gautama as බෝධිසත්‍ව and බුදුන්, viz. from his resolve to attain Buddhahood to his birth in the Tusita Paradise; the next, from that priod to his attainment of Buddhahood, and third from that attainment till his death.

නිරපේක්‍ෂාකරනවා, v. t. to disregard, neglect, reject, නොසලකා අරිනවා.
