පවරනවා, v. t. to devolve upon, foist or thrust upon, impose; impute, as දොස් පවරනවා, accuse, censure; to invite and settle (a B.P. in a house during the rainy season); pret. පැවරුවා; v. n. පැවරීම.

ප්‍ර·භෘති, a. like, similar, සමාන; such like, යනාදී.

පීඩාකාරයා, n. oppressor, persecutor.

පුක්කුසයා, n. one of the low caste called චණ්ඩා ල; man of low occupation, scavenger.

පෙර·ගමන්, n. going forwrd to meet anyone.

පොපිය, n. shaking, trembling tremor, වෙවුලුම.

පිට·දමනවා, v. t. to cast out.

පූජාහිතාව, n. worshipfulness &c.

පාප·මෝචනය, n. sin-obliteration, පාපයෙන් මිදීම; pardon of sin, පර්‍වකමා කිරිම.

පල්, a. stale, foul, putrid; fig. arrant, sheer, egregious.
