පාරාජිකා, a. meriting expulsion; pert. to the four heinous offences which exclude from the priesthood and for which there is no expiation in this life. viz. sexual intercourse, theft, murder, false assumption of the name and character of a 'rahat'.

ප්‍රේත·වාහිත, a. possessed by a demon or sprite, යක්‍ෂාවේශ, භූතාවේශ.

ප්‍රීතිමත්වෙනවා, v. i. to rejoice greatly &c.

පොඩ්ඩ, n. a little, morsel, mite, iota, jot.

පරි·කථාව, n. narrative, story, fiction, novel.

පූර්‍ව·කර්‍මය, n. lit. pre-action, viz. deeds of a former state of existence or the present result in merit, or demerit.

පරි·රම්භනය, පරි·රම්භය, n. embracing, embrace, බදාගැනීම.

ප්‍රකෘති·ස්ථාපකයා, n. reformer, හරිගස්සන්නා.

පට්ටණය, n. town, city, නුවර.

පසු·වෙනවා, v. i. to get or drop behind (in walking &c.); (of time) to pass, pass away, elapse; fare, spend (one's days), as සැපෙන් පසුවෙනවා, live in luxury or comfortably.
