පුච්ඡය, n. tail, වල්ගය, of a bird or fish, පෙඳය.

පලාල·පීඨකය, n. straw mat for wiping the feet, door-mat; capital punishment by beating the culprit till he becomes like a bundle of straw.

පරම්පරාගතකරනවා, v. t. to perpetuate from generation to generation.

පාංශු·පිශාචයා, n. filth-goblin, said to frequent dunghills and cemeteries and feed on filth and dead bodies.

පශ්චාත්තාප·ජ, a. arising from penitence, penitential.

පජීකාව, n. register, සටහන; sp. Yama's (Pluto's) register or record of human actions.

පටි·ලාභය, n. receiving again, reward, return, ලාභය, ඵලවිපාකය.

පනදා, n. second day of the moon; the following day, පසුවදා.

පසේ·බුදුන්, n. (පසේ fr. P. පච්චෙක=S. ප්‍රත්‍යෙ ක, each several, each, and බුදුන්), one of an inferior class of Buddhas, who appeared from time to time before Gautama Buddha. They had not the legibative power or prerogatives of a supreme Buddha and rendered no special assistance to others, though they themselves finally attained Nirvana.
